I thought YG was from Atlanta

LA can never got their hip hop scene and Their Lakers on track at the same time![]()
So I guess that's a definitive no then.YG
DJ Mustard
Nipsey Hussell
Sage

YG was poppin in Cali before those features. Why southern nikkas always shoutout west artists on these beats? The south got the spotlight but the west is the sound.YG aint got shyt poppin without an ATLANTA co-sign though (Jeezy, Rich Homie Quan)
do you live under a rock or something?

Those rappers wouldnt have chose those beats in the first place if they werent hot. It takes two to tango, without mustard there wouldnt be any recent hits by Jeezy, b.o.b, Yo Gotti, etc..YG wouldnt have a national buzz withough those features...in order for a region to run the scene as far as sound more than one producer gotta be popping.. outside of Mustard aint nobody in other regions checkin for west coast producers... Zaytoven (who is a west coast nikka but made his name off the atlanta trap sound), Mike Will Made it, 808 mafia etc still running it as far as "sound" in hip hop

This isnt a DJ Mustard thread this is a west thread so once again ill post all the West artist who have had mainstream hits and also the artists who have used DJ Mustard beats. FYI its more than "a few"no one said mustard's beats werent hot....but hot beats from 1 producer in a 1 year span on a few songs doesnt equal a region's "sound" running hip hop
