When I go to apply in person, they say "we don't do that anymore. You can go to our website and apply online.

I put all this work into my resumé and when I submit it online, it gets fukked up when the website reformats it.

My current job is gonna be a shytshow when I quit

Most people nowadays wanna weed through you online first and if they decide they like you then they call you in. There is a certain level of mind games going on with the way it all plays out. Just be persistent. Employers are under the illusion that the economy is well so there is hiring.

Edit : Don't think they aren't going through your social media too(if you have it). It is possible to have a respectable social media platform. Be mindful of what's on there especially while you are job hunting. It ain't fair but life isn't fair.
