:francis: they need to stand their ground and explain the benefits to women. If you collect CS and he is later determined not the father, you owe that money back.

Didn't know the bolded was true.

I thought that if you took the role of a legal guardian, it doesn't matter what the DNA test reveals, there is no refund for CS

EDIT: Looks like its very state dependent

no. It can hurt the baby. Just wait until the baby is born, swab the child’s mouth, ans wait for the results.

there isn't a time limit on when to do the birth certificate?

This depends maybe on states or judges because there are many evidenced cases of men being kept on child support for a child the court found out was not the mans child. And cases have been thrown out of men petitioning the court to take them off because of paternity and the courts refused...let alone paying back the money.

Many woman would leave a man if they did that.

However i agree, i would just do it in secret.
If its mine, good. Never speak of it again.

If not, calling my lawyers that day, divorcing her, changing locks, all that.

In England it's 42 days.

So unless you're in the know about paternity tests, it's fairly easy to ruin a man's life.:francis:

Family court doesn't care. They family court system only want to ensure a child is provided for usually by whoever signed the birth certificate.

Could be worse. I would hate being a new father in France where paternity testing is illegal.:gucci:

Why don’t guys get paternity test at birth? It makes everything less complicated for out of wedlock children.

Because they are scared.

They know if they step to her with that, she gonna run that
“What the fucc - YOU DON’T TRUST ME? You the only one I was fuccing.
I can’t live with no muthafucca who don’t trust me...that’s why you got a little dicc,
and yo’ Mama ain’t chit!” - game. ...whether she’s in the right or dead-ass wrong.

They choose to not be about that life.

Because it's offensive, hurtful and bad for society and the government's budget.
