Always found this stupid :hhh:
I think its funny because who would even have a Joe Harris Jersey to burn lol. Like you can’t be that emotionally invested in a Nets team that JUST come together this season. This ain’t like the Cavs fans burning LeBron jerseys

Nah. I actually blame Nash.

This dude is going through a historic slump and he straight up said he's basically ignoring him to let him work it out on his own. He's the coach. He's supposed to work it out some way and if he doesn't think Harris is up to it he shouldn't have left him on the floor. Bud was just as idiotic with Jrue. The Bucks just happened to win so no one will mention Jrue having a historically bad game 7 and his coach not running no plays for him to get easy shots.

Jrue turned it on late in the 4th tho. Jrue basically saved the team late and made timely shots. If Harris woulda even did half that the nets win comfortably...

Jrue literally won the game for them on both sides of the floor in the final possessions

Nxggas in here are really blaming Nash for Harris missing open jumpshots. Even worse saying Nash should've not even played Harris for missing said jumpshots.

Do y'all even understand sports?

Yes. In a game 7 take Joe Harris the fukk out of the game if he's not doing what he's supposed to aka hit wide ass open threes. It's not like he's capable of making it up on the defensive side of the ball. Nash watched that man launch bricks for four games. Game 7 isn't the time to think that's going to change.

He didn't go off. He made a few shots. In the end he was 5 for 23 which is a horrible game and during it his coach didn't make any adjustments to get him some easy looks. Those shots he did make were all sorts of contested.
:gucci:AND THEY WERE THE BIGGEST

Jrue was bricking the whole series, and almost the entirety of Game 7 (every other post in the game thread was about Jrue shytting the bed), until he came alive in the dying moments and scored the Bucks' final six points in the 4th quarter. That could've easily been Harris. You can't blame the coach for putting the best players out there for their specific use, and then blame the coach for those players not performing. Shooters go through droughts, it just so happened to be at the worst possible time for Harris.

Not to mention, Harris shot 50% from behind the arc in the series prior, so you can't just bench someone of that ability when there's no better alternative.

Both can be true. He definitely hit big shots, but he also played like garbage when you look at the overall picture. He shot 21% from the field. That's fukking terrible.

Jrue is different. He's one of the Bucks pillars. I get leaving him on the floor. My issue with his scenario is his coach didn't seem to try to do anything to help him get anything easy.

Harris is a role player. Shooters have droughts, but in a game 7 and he didn't show any semblance of coming out of the drought you gotta take him off. They could've gotten away with playing Harden, Shamet/Brown/Johnson, KD, Blake, and Jeff Green without losing any offense at all in the 4th and OT since it was all KD anyway. Blake and Green shown they're able to hit open threes this series at home. Taking him out is only really specific to the game 7 scenario. If it's game 2 or 3 or 4 and you're not in danger of going home I get leaving him out there to shoot himself out of it. Maybe it's just that me and you are different philosophically, but for me, role players get short leashes if they played like Harris had in the series at that point. I would've taken him out and been ok with almost anyone else taking that shot outside of Deandre Jordan. Riding with the people who got you there only applies to the stars/pillars.
