Completely nailed that hip hop would move away from consciousness and deep thinking, to shallowness, materialism, and the whims of the non-thinking majority. What stings more is that Ice Cube is just as responsible for this shift as any other artist. He went from social antagonist and critic, to "Don Mega" obsessed with "clubbin" and chasing cheese.
