Nobody wants to acknowledge this. I'm currently buying food and on my way I've seen over 7 places that hiring. It's hard for me to feel sympathy for the unemployed. Because if the jobs are available way not provide for your family?
Even more, we're in month 10 of the pandemic and I've learned an entirely new trait if I'm fired from the insurance industry. So I will have backup just in case I lose my job. Most people are just waiting for that money to be able to move instead of learning a new trait in order to live/proceed.

and look what we have almost 400,000 dead and a whole bunch of people unemployed and homeless and only to get worse because white people more than any other race won’t wear face mask, washed they ass and simply don’t like to be told what to do by simply sit your ass down for a month or two until we get this pandemic straightened out

That shyt ended in July and it was only for four months , and the majority didn't get it for the full four months

i feel for ppl who are going through it but like others have said i see help wanted signs up interestingly enough. i also have family members that were making $20/hr but decided to not go back to work to collect unemployment because it's more than what they were making. for those ppl i don't feel bad about.

just stupid... u lose a $20/hr job which was probably replaced by someone else just for a extra 300/600 dollars for a short period of time time
I guess looking back, I'm kind of glad my job was considered essential, even though I dont think it is lol.
But I probably wouldnt have turned down going back to a $20+/hr job regardless. Say those jobs get filled by others and you are left with $12-$15/hr jobs or nothing at all, all because you depended on the government.
