It's crazy how wrong you are about everything.

And maybe you'd have a point if I was either super hype for the Rog or already had one of the other handhelds, or gaming laptop. Instead you don't understand why someone in the Xbox ecosystem that is an big user of gamepass and lately play anywhere would buy the latest device that directly supports those things in a way the others don't. :mjlol:

:mjlol: you don't say... But which stans can't stop bringing it up?

Again since you missed it the 1st time, the only reason I'm posting is mostly in response to the grifting of you Sony stans.

Breh, you just be saying anything :mjlol:
So this person who is in the Xbox ecosystem and is a "big user" of Gamepass cannot do that on the Rog Ally X that was out since last year? :unimpressed:

You ONLY care about this because of the damn logo :skip: . I'd understand if you just didn't get to it and now you're like you know what let me just buy the newer one but the bolded you mentioned is not inherent to the Rog Xbox Ally X. Like be for real breh. You don't care about PC gaming, you just care when there's an Xbox logo.

Discussion happens around new products, surprising. :damn:

I gamed on PC "hardcore" since Warcraft 3. I however don't like gaming on PC because surprise surprise, it's not comfortable and the games I played also required very low latency setups.

But I'll let you tell it.

It's not comfortable to game on PC even though you can literally set it up like a console these days?

It's even funnier you mention latency...

Enjoy your Rog Ally X

Add the biggest gaming podcast to the list of "what is the point of this".

I did not watch but they don't understand that the ROG Ally X was going to get a successor? Whether or not they partnered with Xbox and had a custom version of Windows developed that product was going to happen.

they get into questioning the use of these 'high power' PC handhelds in general. basically that the kind of games that are best on a handheld would run fine on a Steamdeck, which is a lot cheaper. I kind of agree that I'm not tryin to play the latest AAA games on a handheld. but that's also true for something like the PS Portal

idk, I think it's easy to sit there as the owner of many consoles and a PC, and ask "what is the point of this?" or think that it's limited because it doesn't fit into your personal lifestyle. these are reasons I cancelled my Steamdeck pre-order, because I realized I probably wouldn't really use it. but I'm not gonna front like there's not people that would use a device like this

The Steam Deck is fairly old though right? I think it came out in 2020. A high spec handheld will last a lot longer than a middle to low spec one. It's the same principal as buying a 80 series or 90 series GPU from Nvidia. You buy one of those and 8 years later you're probably still getting acceptable performance out of it.

well their point was that specs aren't that important to a lot of games that would be best played on a handheld. I don't think anyone doubts that 'more power' will always be better, but the question is if it's worth the price difference
