M$ has a lot of money.

What that means? They're going to throw everything (and then some) at the wall until they figure out what sticks.

Traditional console gaming isn't their lane anymore. Sony and Nintendo won that battle. Microsoft seems to want spread their risk across multiple avenues and use that war chest to gain a foothold in at least one of them. Is it better to be #1 at a particular aspect of gaming or "competitive" in multiple areas?

Guess we're going to find out.
