These nba players are letting internet ignoramuses cyberbully them into making stupid decisions.:hhh:
He showed up to practice every day and put in his work, made sure morale was high and the team culture was solid
He earned that championship. Played re gular season minutes to reduce wear and tear on the starters. I hope this doesn't become a trend:scust:

Draymond was the best player for GS in the '16 Finals

Horry averaged 18 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals and 2.3 blocks and shot 38% from 3 in the '95 Finals

I'm not sure it is the Jordan effect. He also got the same abuse for not having an nba title before he finally won it. This type of talk was in the nba way before Mike. People were even saying Wilt didnt win enough titles back then.
They thought mike was just a scorer who couldn't win. Rings will always be important. That's cause winning is important. But so is competition. The balance between the 2 has gone out of wack. This new age has valuing winning way more than competition. Deep down inside everyone knows that winning is only fun with real competition. This is just them shedding the bullshyt and being real.

On the other hand, fans of the teams who win in an uncompetitive manner will always enjoy the ring cause they arent the one competing. Fans arent the ones actually putting in that work. We just want bragging rights

No one waiting or allowing there FO to fukk them over anymore thats the problem

No one is waiting their career waiting wishing and hoping their FO to put players around them

And with the short contracts they bouncing

Watching great to legendary players put up amazing stats and points year after year and not going far

Is the definition of....

Insanity :mindblown:

The wild thing barkley was chasing rings when he asked for a trade from Philly

He could have stayed and fought and worked ans got that team together

But he wanted a way out

Did the same to the suns

I'm not against player mobility. I doubt they are either. But there's a difference between going to a good situation and going to a situation that makes winning a given.

The championship is destroying the culture and fun of basketball.

Too many narratives surrounding the impact of winning/not winning a ring. We have GREAT players who never won a ring (team achievement) but somehow gets down graded and surpassed by players who weren’t necessarily better.

Or the ol’, “ he didn’t win on his original team” and “he joined a super team” argument. Even the, “he wasn’t the leader of that team” , “he wasn’t in his prime”, or “but he wasn’t MVP”, argument.

Now we have players “not counting” rings because they didn’t win them the “right way”?
WTF is the right way to win a ring in a team sport competition? This ring argument is bullshyt and overblown, and rarely put in proper context.

Man it just sports

Brady was still being called a System QB even as recent as 2014, 2016 that didn't deserve full credit for his rings

I agree with this
It is amazing how much winning overrates certain players and underrates others
Look at Draymond Green :mjlol:
A glorified role player yet some people had him as a top 15 player during their championship run:mjlol:
In the end you have role players like Robert Horry, a role player who was always on the right team, right spot, at the right time, flexing on all time great talents like TMAC with his rings, as if he was a major contributing factor :mjlol:
Sometimes great players are on shyt teams
Draymond woulda won finals MVP in 2016 tf u on

Lakers and Rockets may have 1 less ring if Horry don’t step up

this is crazy, basketball fans the worst

PHILLY #Byrdgang
Barkleys only saying that becuz they didn’t win. He was still a double double guy in Houston & still a factor.

T-mac shouldn’t have claimed a ring if they won. He signed right before the playoffs & prolly only played a couple meaningless minutes during that whole playoffs period

If winning is a given by you going there, isn’t that considered putting a team over the top which is kinda the goal?

These arguments are ridiculous and I’m glad they don’t stray too far off basketball. At the rate this is heading we’re gonna start lobbying for only 4 or 5 guys on a roster to actually get credit for a ring.

Honorable thing to do. Honestly, the rest of the GSW squad should come out and do the same thing. The first one was against injury ridden teams. That ain't greatness. Last 2 with KD was just cheating and even then it took a CP3 injury one year. They all have 0 respectable rings if you really look at it. Rings have become overrated because it was part of MJ's story of greatness. But these other guys ain't great like MJ was.

Salute Matt Barnes. :salute:
Lose to a KD-less Warriors brehs:unimpressed:
