It’s sad and I wish him well.

but it’s certain things as a man that you have to do for yourself..

from a health and career standpoint, you can’t let yourself go like that. Once you’re at the point where you go from “overweight” to “obese” you gotta cut all the bullshyt out until your BMI is in “healthy” range.

Then you can start treating yourself in moderation again. Our bodies ain’t built for most this shyt, it’s an evolutionary mismatch

He let himself go. That's why he having congestive heart failure. It's also probably why he can't find work. He's huge now and only can play certain parts.

this.

and Elvin from the Cosby show found “work” and he had a far lesser role than William. Now, cashier work isn’t exactly acting but he wasn’t starving and was able to pay his bills.

Getting fat and subsequent heart issues is 1000% his fault. Barely any roles for black actors and maybe he needs to look at something behind the camera.

TV shows feel like the kiss of death for a lot of actors.

Once you get on a strong hit show that lasts a few years, it's really difficult to duplicate that success. Lots of actors have that 5 to 7 year run and then fade from the limelight.

You have to make moves during the shows run and then capitalize to parlay that into greater acclaim.....basically you need movie star looks. Big screen and TV screen a very different in this regard.

And if you stay on that side too long, some of the problems can become irreversible. :francis:
