Plenty of Black women jockeying for those cats- especially if they are at least somewhat attractive. I’ve seen BW throw themselves at legitimately unattractive and fat men who are doing well/moving forward in life. Hell, the big dudes in my family have women who are like a size 6. These dudes also happen to be highly successful and come from highly successful parents, so these chicks can look past the stomach.

Yeah I actually have never seen a BW I know bush a BM who is in the professional pipeline (medical, dental, law, business school) even if he isn't making huge bank immediately. Unless it was for a much bigger prospect. Usually past college the smart ones mature and focus on who is going to be worth something. The thots of all races waste their time regardless.

The only thing I will say BW may miss out on is targeting these dudes in undergrad. Not that I am saying they are chasing thugs or living the hookup life always, it's just White and Asian girls can be hardcore on that Mrs degree stuff starting Sophmore year.

I totally agree with you- but that’s really a cultural issue in the last generation (millennials). Black mothers didn’t press their daughters about marriage like White and Asian mothers. Now, back in the day it wasn’t like that. The baby boomers in my fam got married at like 19-22, the GenX got married around late 20s/30. But when it came to millennials everyone said to just focus on school and $ LOL

What I noticed with GenX is they got married because you had to get married, even if they didn’t want to. I will admit that the guys in my family are good dudes. Definitely honest about their faults, but wanted to remain married and a few of their wives pulled the divorce card and then came back around trying to reneg
So I already got the lesson- once you lock in, don’t joke about walking out . Ironically, the ones who are still married are the traditional unions- stay at home wives.

Some millennials will turn it around before it’s too late, but I think GenZ and younger will get back on track.

I had neither, but my gen x brother got married young, so my single mom musta did something right.
