But after living in NYC and working with people who have worked with him, he's BEEN struggling financially. Many of his business ventures have not been making money. His gallery uptown doesn't make money, I don't even know if it's still open. I've had friends w2ho were artists show there, and outside of opening night, they've told me they've rarely had patrons or buyers in there.

Part of this is due to Dame's ego...he still wants to pretend to the public that's he a success and a hustler and a businessman and a mogul but those days are long behind him, if only he was more humbler he wouldn't be in this mess.

You hate to see it.

And people had the nerve to say he was the real brains behind Roc-A-Fella.
