When dude was still allowed to be somewhat of a player in the music/film industry where was all that black empowerment talk then? Of all the movies/music he's put out, which are about black empowerment? Dude doesn't even fukk with black women and doesn't even get along with his own black brothers. fukk outta with that Dame X shyt. 
At him living that black empowerment life when he doesn't even fukk with black women. No black person that he's ever worked with still deals with him. Damn near every black artist that he's worked with that we know of has accused this cat of doing shady business. You idiots don't even know when you're being hustled. With that said, I don't know why you think Lyor or any cac was the reason Jay was tired of Dame. Dame was disrespecting everyone, including Roc-a-fells money, partners, artists and most importantly Jay-z's authority. They were just not built for each other.

Bro. Dame found literally like every artist on The Roc not named Bleek. There prolly wouldn't be a Dynasty without Dame cause Jay didn't bring in shyt. Dame is a psycho but anyone denying his input is delusional.
Say what you want about Dame but I truly believe that Rocafella could not have been what it was without him. He's a confirmed dikkhead and handled situations wrong but you have to give him props for going at these majors neck the way he did and fighting for the artists. The story Nore told about Dame fighting for him to get more money for his videos and a bigger budget was a prime example. He didnt have to go in that meeting and fight for Nore but he called Kevin Liles out on his bullshyt for 1 trying to take a record that Nore built on his own after they had no faith and told him he could do whatever and 2 trying to go back on their word and say they never told him that. Dame brought out the books and confirmed they was lowballing Nore.
Those are the type of stories that go untold that people never hear. That Memphis Bleek interview with Nore really shed some light on how Dame was really the creative force/talent seeker for Rocafella. Jay seemed to only get on shyt after it got hot and his reputation pretty much confirms that. I really can't blame Dame for being the way he is. You kind of have to be unlikebale the way he is in order to be successful or to gain that level of success. He seems bitter now and just saying dumb shyt but I recognize his contribution to what was one of the biggest and best labels in history.

Are you nikkas crazy, the A&Rs brought in the artists to Dame cause that was his job. Dame then brought it to Jay and Biggs after he signed off. Obviously he was extremely important for the Roc, but to act like he was some superman acting without a squad of industry legends is laughable and you know nothing about he roc if that's the case.
Perhaps you've never worked for a company, but people have different roles. If you want to know of some of the legends at The Roc that was bringing in artist Google Lenny S, Jay Brown, Real Rolla, Al Branch, Joshua Kyambo and Gee Roberson and I could go on.

Like I said in the other thread, what Dame told Bleek was some good advice even Nore understood but it seems like Bleek didn't get it then or even now. It probably wasn't communicated properly knowing Dame's reputation but it was still real advice.
Ask the average rap fan to name a Memphis Bleek song and they probably can't. Instead of Bleek hitting the stage establishing himself performing his songs, he up there doing Jay joints. As part owner of Roc-A-Fella, of course Dame would tell Bleek that him being a new artist can't do that. That's not good business for anyone and you can't build a buzz doing that. Plus Bleek sounded like a chick talking about Jay gonna cut you off. And? He sounded like that and even know that he can't do anything with Jay. That's the difference between him and Dame. Dame don't need to be up under Jay while Bleek literally seems honored by it.

again, this has been similar to Sugar knight. people have said he was a needed force in the industry because he stood up to the other bosses and made them pay their fair share. now we know suge went to far with the physical stuff, threats, and then started holding the artists money hostage. But the initial part of suge punking execs is a good thing. because how many times have we heard all artists of all genres cry about how they got raped on their deals. we hear it all the time. that means these white folks, jewish folks, even some black folks thats been in the game for awhile are on a snake move trying to catch you slipping. praying you're all about the art or you're too young to understand the business. dame was not having it, neither was suge. for that they were GREAT for the artists, indie lables, when they both went to far in their own ways is the reason no one wants to work with them now. but to dames point. why would you realllly want to work with and in an industry full of people literally trying to rape you and only will stop if you call them on their BS? what type of life is that to live. when all you do is fight to be treated fairly. like thats all you're asking for. you're not trying to get over. you just want fair compensation. why do i have to wrestle to get fair? if dame was a jewish guy/white guy they would've never come at him like that to begin with. if it was a white owned label. they would not have tried to pull that nonsense on the roc or any of those black labels.
