The End
Denzel Washington played Steve Biko and Malcolm X..

Unless the complaints are coming from a place of noticing Black American actors being barred or neglected from playing Black American legends, any other concerns come across as whining
malcolm x is black american and you know that you stinky tether

The End
The lead in Memoirs Of A Geisha was Chinese, not Japanese. Naveen Andrews is Indian, and played Iraqi on Lost. And Jennifer Lopez is Puerto Rican, not Mexican, but she nailed Selena.

:manny:

The End
His mother was from Grenada
Yeah? He was raised in Black American Culture. Is Grenadian side meant nothing to his upbringing or culture.

So much to the point that in his autobiography he remembers meeting west indians immigrants for the first time and them practicing housing discrimination against him.

In *The Autobiography of Malcolm X* (1965), Malcolm X briefly discusses his time in Harlem during the 1940s, where he encountered West Indian immigrants. He notes their clannishness, recalling an incident where a West Indian landlord refused to rent him a room, citing a preference for “island folks.” Malcolm interprets this as a form of intra-racial bias.

He wasn’t west indian he was an american negro

I understand the sentiment and uproar of non Black Americans playing these roles

But at the same time when Don Cheadle was in Hotel Rwanda and had the worst African accent I've ever heard, no one batted an eye

Exactly. This why I can’t respect it. It’s hypocritical and mfers are crybabies. Like this never happened…

Those damn tethers, stealing #FBA jobs :troll:
Black Americans not going over there to those roles. I'll never understand this. Some of these people come here talking about race isn't real or just flat out talk shyt about Black Americans. It's ok to admit that the people that come over here are spineless cowards that refuse to do shyt at home so they come over here because Black Americans are too friendly.
