If you're going to see Lebron on the second day of a back to back it's probably something to keep in mind if you're buying tix. I do think he's doing this as a power play to Silver to shorten the season though. Doubt he's that tired.
Just dumb. Plain dumb.Y'all also probably the same dudes who say stuff like "(insert athlete here) doesn't care about you! He's just about his money! Why are you defending him so hard?" Well ya know what, that's right, a lot of athletes don't really care. So, ya know what I care about? Whatever I'm putting down to take my family or my girl to go see LeBron play
Yep. Drive thru kids at Whataburger give me mustard when I ask for no mustard. I take that shyt back because there are protections for consumers even for a $6 meal. Just like, when someone puts down hundreds for the game, there should be protections. That's life. If you're raising your kids to be fans of the team, then go watch the team. Yea it sucks that they don't get to see their favorite player, but thats how it goes sometimes.
Saying something over and over doesn't make it true. I could give a fukk what you think is dumbJust dumb. Plain dumb.
He shouldn't rest on road games
At home no problem
But you didn't know ahead of time!! So the "had plenty of opportunities" part isn't really relevant, because THIS is the opportunity you chose. If you already put the money down and your kids were all excited, you don't think that's a let down? fukk them right? They can just eat that $300 or whatever, cuz fukk em?
This "bu...bu...but what about the fans" shyt kills me
1. For starters Indy is in the Eastern Conference. It's very likely he's going back there again this year and they have had plenty of opportunities over the last 14 years to see him.
2. If Bron is worn out or injured come playoff time, how many fans are gonna give him a pass because he played every game during the season?
3. This ain't new. We know that teams rest guys. We can't act like this is some shocking development. If you are going to a game for a specific player, meaning you don't really care about your team, it's on you to check the schedule.

I know y'all love LeBron and want him to get his rest and I get that, it makes perfect sense. But you don't think it's at least a respectable move for the team to announce that LeBron may not play road games on the back-end of back to backs? Or 4 out of 5 nights or whatever? Is that REALLY too much to ask?
But it is. You're just adding more and more spin to an outright shytty and easy to tear down opinion.Saying something over and over doesn't make it true. I could give a fukk what you think is dumb
These dudes are plain stupid man. Call it what it isCompare toppings on a burger to athletic performance brehs. That's actually the problem here...people viewing and treating human beings like something other than human beings.
Rest for Bron was a major topic coming out of Cleveland this summer. If you are that interested in seeing him, that's something that it's on you to pay attention to.

I'm not sure what "it's on you to check the schedule" means. Seems to me like, in the scenario I described which I would imagine is pretty common, they did check the schedule, and they chose that game because LeBron was in town. Maybe NOW they will think about this sort of thing, but I'm sure at the time, nobody was thinking "well back end of a back-to-back, maybe I shouldn't....." Nah, nobody was thinking that. They very well may be huge fans of the team, but can't afford every game so they pick the best one. Out of whatever 18k fans in attendance for a typical game, I'm sure there are many who fall in this category.
Right. That's exactly what I said and what I think:Entitled as fukk fans who think players who have proven to go All out owes them something,
I think there's a difference between "owing" the fans something, and being considerate or respectful of their time and money. If everyone just walked around only doing what they "owed" for people, society would suck.
You don't think entitled is overboard? If you are a working family and you put down a few hundo to treat your kids to a game to see LeBron and he doesn't show up, you think it's being "entitled" to wish you would have known ahead of time? To have your time and money respected?
I'm sure you take your order back at the drive thru when it gets fukked up and it's not what you ordered. That's not being "entitled". This is no different, in fact, I'd care a lot more about a few hundred dollars I spent on tickets than I did about $6 I spent in the drive thru
Right. That's exactly what I said and what I think:narrating their shytty thoughts on why they have a problem with them resting
