Bro, to even be at this point tells me he doesn't give a shyt about Gilbert owning the team. After last night, and what is going on with Melo, it's pretty clear that plan A was to bring Melo down here and plan B was to go back home. To even entertain going back there means he doesn't care and puts home/family/roster above everything else.
Either that or we will witness the biggest fukk you to someone we will ever see in our lives. If he's building all this hope in his home state, telling people to leak info that he's going back, all so he can fukk Gilbert again the state of Ohio might revolt.

If that happens, it will honestly be one of the biggest fukk you ever seen in sports, up there with Art Modell taking the Browns to Maryland in my opinion.

Breh, at the end of the day I hope you're right. That being said, I think some Heat people here are in denial. The signs are all there that he's going back. I already made my peace with it and it's time to move on.
If this is all a charade, I will be wrong and the team will be great. But I'm not investing hope into this situation. At this point I'm watching the situation to see how Riley and Arison are going to react.

Well Stephen A Smith was on Mike and Mike and said he's hearing that it's damn near guaranteed at this point.
I truly believe after yesterday that the plan was to go into this offseason and bring Melo in here. Then the Cavs get another 1st picks, the Heat get whooped in the finals by the Spurs, Wade plays horrible after sitting out so much, and Bosh doesn't show up so that already had him thinking about going back home. He probably told Riley straight up before Riley's press conference how it was going down: Get Melo down here or I'm gone.
There's no reason why Melo should be waiting unless he's clinging to the hope Bosh goes and both him and LBJ sign in Miami. But that isn't happening. Bosh's camp cornered them with the "I'll sign in Houston if LeBron leaves"
I hope Lebron trolls the shyt out of him () but if Lebron goes back there I can't respect him anymore
