I wonder if his departure was the result of some sort of dispute between him and Take Two. From what I heard him and his brother wanted to make more single player content for GTA V but Take Two convinced them into focusing more on multiplayer instead. I’m guessing that he didn’t like the direction the company was heading in. Hopefully this doesn’t impact the development of GTA VI and Bully 2.

A lot of casuals who buy like two games a year play GTA and they fukk with it due to the single player. That's why GTA is so major. It appeals to casuals and hardcores. The single player is key to that.
