Savage basically played himself in Spiderman 1. Cena at least showed some level of acting outside his WWE persona. Savage is a god in terms of pro wrestling. But you really are neglecting the fact that Cena has a legion of small children behind him. Cena is way more popular. That's not saying better as a wrestler thats a whole other debate, but it's like some of you are taking this stance to mean Cena is a better wrestler. We talking mainstream. Savage was always 2nd fiddle to Hogan if we keepin it 100. Again How is this even a question? And I'm not even a Cena fan and I'm a big Savage fan, but it's true.

savage had small children who are now ADULTS who STILL LOVE randy savage even in death.

wrestling was like 3x as big during his two DIFFERENT peaks when he was most popular...he STATISTICALLY has more fans in and outside of wrestling than cena...i mean he was doing late night talk shows IN KAYFABE and killing it because he was so popular...savage's VOICE OVER WORK was iconic...savage had kids just like cena and they never stopped being fans of his...randy savage was a pop culture icon that cena could never be.

savage was #2 during a time when WRESTLING had more fans inside and OUTSIDE of wrestling...they grew up with savage being a favorite...he has more fans and they never left him.
