But you HAVE to SCORE a TD....
Cook had 4 carries in the 4th quarter
-4 yards
-3 yards
0 yards
1 yard.

They were getting stuffed and putting the offense in a horrible position, especially with KC's secondary putting the clamps on.

Ya'll are really trying to argue that a QB should ignore an open WR in the end zone, in order to run clock when you're down 3 points.:why:
No. He made the right read, but it was the wrong playcall. I thought that was fairly obvious

NOPE.

IF HE HITS THAT TD
HE STILL LEFT 1:55 AND 2 TIMEOUTS
FOR MAHOMES TO COME
DOWN AND WIN THE GM
AS HE WATCHES HELPLESSLY FROM THE SIDELINES.
(KC PUNTED ONCE IN THE WHOLE GM)

IT WAS A TERRIBLE HERO BALL DECISION.

GET THE 1ST DOWN
AND FORCE KC TO BURN TIMEOUTS.

That’s not a garauntee that pat drives the field, it’s easy to say that after the fact take the check down but Diggs could drop it, slip or whatever, he made a decision, no one says hey defense step up or kicker make the play

Ehh.... it was an open play but the gameplan was clearly to prioritize time of possession and not give the Chiefs the ball with a chance to win the game.

Even if Allen hits that throw the Chiefs have an eternity to go put the ball in the end zone.

So if the Bills hand it off and Cook breaks one I guess he was supposed to stop at the 1 and force KC to take their timeouts.:pachaha:

Bills defense is completely fukking decimated, they were playing 3rd stringers and guys off the couch.

Up 31-27 with two TO and 1:55 on the clock with your defense on the field? Not a scenario I want to be in.

These threads are dumb. You can pile on Allen if you want but at worst he's the what... 3rd best QB in the NFL? Almost every team would trade for him. :russ:

And I don't give a fukk about Allen. I think Mahomes is obviously better and I'd take Lamar over Allen too. Maybe Burrow. That's it.

:gucci:ALLEN IS A TOP 5 QB.

ALLEN MADE SOME DUMB DECISIONS.

BOTH THINGS CAN BE TRUE

I WAS RESPONDING TO THIS.

"No way the Bills win kicking a fg"

"All the more reason to prioritize the TD over the clock"

NO ONE SAID PRIORITIZE THE FG OVER THE TD

I'm saying in that situaion you prioritize scoring a TD over the clock. You don't pass up a TD because of the clock when you're down. And epecially not when a TD puts you up 4.

Healthy Andrews has been second only to Kelce most of this era. Kittle too inconsistent

Regardless, as we’ve seen this year with the Chiefs, even the greatest TE can only have so much impact when the receivers aren’t up to snuff.

1. All the attention shifts to the TE without other receiving options, which is easier to do than a WR since they generally operate in the heart of the defense anyway, and makes life that much harder on the TE. Had nikkas thinking Kelce was washed, even tho he had all the defense’s att’n until Rice came on. And his stats were still near the top of TEs with games missed.

2. Receivers stretch the field in a way a TE can’t without blown coverage. Look how much impact MVS dropping ass had with just two big catches yesterday. Chiefs are literally at least 2 drops from 2 more wins off the top of my head, probably more.
I disagree, I actually think it's the opposite. A great tight end makes it easier on the wide recievers because the safetys have to play closer to LOS and the lb can't cheat off the ends.

In fact we can look at history for the tight end position versus the wr position, most of the greatest wrs of all time haven't won a ring, where as most of the greatest tight ends of all time have. Having a top target at tight end is a game changer, kittle even with his inconsistencies makes life a lot easier for purdy, he sits in the soft zone spots, can blow by most lbs with ease. Having a hof tight end is a game changer, you usually can get by with average weapons at wr. It's why Ravens and Chiefs are able to cut cost

What decision was dumb?
I think the second one was probably should have checked it down got closer to fg. The first you obviously take the wide open td. I don't think the first one is a bad throw, it just looks and in hindsight since he missed it. It's a great read if he gets the ball there.
