It was to be Cincinnati's final NBA season and little Dan Patrick knew it.
The mythic Wilt Chamberlain was in town and this was the last ever opportunity little Dan might have to get Wilt's autograph (collected everyone's but Wilts).
He spots the away team bus letting players on and sees Wilt sitting in the front seat. This was it. This was his big moment.
Patrick musters up the courage to sneak on the bus after a player.
Holds out a pen and paper and with a nervous smile says "Wilt can I have your autograph?"
Wilt, all 7 foot plus, stands up.
Patrick probably can't believe his luck.
Wilt then says:
"GET THE fukk OFF THE BUS, and where's your Mother?".
Damn.
