I met him last year at the niner stadium. I didn't recognize him at first till his head of security told me who it was. He was super cool with me and everybody there.

There's a new theory going about that it may not have been Snyder who was the sole reason behind firing Reid & Paul. Looks like ESPN Radio higher ups were upset when they found out that one of its larger affiliates was dumping Mike & Mike for a new morning show, and sticking M&M in ratings purgatory Sportstalk 570 (which has a much weaker signal). Also, ESPN Radio states that you must air either Mike & Mike or one of the other daily nationally syndicated shows to call yourself an ESPN Radio affiliate, so that might have been another reason the show got canned (still doesn't explain how it got the green light in the first place, and why they waited until 3 days before the debut of the show to cancel it completely).

Hahahaha. So someone pretending to sound like the President of ESPN getting his on, made several phone calls to ESPN 980 the week prior to the show being cancelled, and pretended to be angry and demanded that the show be cancelled. Management at ESPN 980 somehow believed the "President" of ESPN, and proceeded to cancel show & fire the PD as a result. It took Bruce Allen calling Bristol, and talking to the real president of ESPN, to get the real story straight that he never made any calls.

Now the show is back on as planned, and will debut on Monday, as if nothing happened. What a pathetic ass station, with pathetic ass management.
