Meaning using a fake west coast voice and lingo ala Dana Dane. Pac was from the east and he went over their claiming west side.Whoa

Dana Dane wasn't from England, the record executives told him to rap with an English accent to sound like MC Ricky D from the hit record "The Show". and he came off sounding more English than Rick
They used to be a part of the same crew (The Kangol Crew) and his record was fresh so nobody tripped on him but when Great Adventures was released, that album effectively ended Dana Dane's career because Slick Rick was legitimately from England and had come out first.
Dana Dane had no identity after so he just tried to replicate the success of "Dana dane with fame" in two different rap eras which flopped horribly ...wtf is his appeal at this point??
"Fake Slick Rick is BACK!""Rick's in jail buy my shyt"
"remember me?"
We didn't have an album from the real one at the timeDane was cool but he just wasn't fukking with Slick Rick. No need to hype the knockoff when you can get the real one for the same price.
Co signBut we can't front on Dana Dane Fame album, it was hot in the streets and had 4 major singles
I take it you're also mad at Ice Cube for perpetuating gang banging in his raps, Eazy E for not writing his own raps, Dre talkin bad about weed not writing his own raps, then turn around and make a album called the Chronic, Jay Z for lying about losing 92 bricks, Rick Ross saying he knows the real norega, Big Daddy Kane lying about having HIV..the list goes on my dude when you talk about "frauds" in hip hop..Once I did the science and realized Dana was a fraud, I was done with him. He doesn't exist to me, he's worse than Big Bank Hank. It hurts to feel this way too because I loved Dana back in the days. Him fraud. As far as I'm concerned he can....
Yeah that was kind of weird when he was working with Battlecat'Nightmares' was my sh*t. Didn't like how he switched to an all West Coast sound that didn't fit him when he tried to make a comeback in the mid 90's, though.

So like I said in thread title Dana Dane held us down
It take it that you're taking my point out of context. Who's mad? Get out of here breh, you started off wrong. Edit-Public Enemy talking about being pro black, even had a song called night of the living baseheads while having a actual crack smoker as your hype man...
Maaaaan..just stop it..
Not really, you talking bout big bank hank with lyrics, and dana dane faking an accent, how does my examples differ from fraudulent behavior? It take it that you're taking my point out of context. Who's mad? Get out of here breh, you started off wrong. Peace![]()
Actually he went over there calling himself in MC NY,then later in a very organic fashion,he became a west coast artist. Nothing fake about itMeaning using a fake west coast voice and lingo ala Dana Dane. Pac was from the east and he went over their claiming west side.
