UFC is a league.

Boxing is set up completely different.

If pay is an issue, become a star outside of the UFC, promote your fight using your own money, get a venue, negotiate the splits with all parties involved, and you’ll get boxer money.

UFC is a cac sport so :yeshrug:
Yes MMA does have mostly dumb cac fans and Dana and many fighters are MAGAtards.
There are still black fighters there to support as well as black pioneers and legends who helped build it despite it being a cac sport.

exactly. easy to say 'someone should compete and run a new promotion', but they'd have to convince top fighters to wait out their UFC contracts and come fight for them

but here's the problem...

UFC has spent years building up the brand at the expense of the individuals, and making it so that names are interchangeable, even at the top. if someone drops out of a fight, even a main event, they'll throw someone else in and have everyone convinced it'll be just as big of a match-up.

who do they have that's truly a star? a household name? nobody since Ronda and Connor. the top fighters are who UFC tells you they are. and if they're fighting elsewhere, it's because they couldn't cut it. that's the perception they've been working to create, and that's what keeps pay down

There’s plenty of competition though. There hasn’t been a company yet that can match what ufc can do. Btw, nobody talking about the fans are getting screwed over too. The last UFC event was like $75. If that money not increasing fighter pay, wtf is it going too

They are having more and more random fights. They pretty much have one every weekend. And a big one every other weekend. I think they do some shyts on Friday night's now.........

Thing is UFC buys out all these little guys and integrates the fighters into their roster. Just www did with wcw, ecw....it made sense when they were building their roster for the best in the world claim. Now it's silly. Bellator seems like UFC leftovers but the fighters and the atmosphere seems to enjoy it more than UFC. UFC can provide that electrifying feel on some fights and duds on others. Bellator seems to be pretty even keel, just good fights.

Fight Stipe again, win and drop the title, then make a heavy bag on the boxing tip

Or

switch sides and go dominate bellator WITH sponsor money

Someone in the UFC sending racist text messages to Nganous manager

This is what they do whenever someone tries to challenge the status quo. Threats, bullying and intimidation in order to keep these guys in line.

If Nganou gets the Fury fight he should make about 4 million dollars. He would have to fight 8 times in the UFC to make that same amount. High profile fighters only fight twice a year too.

702 is vegas, i wouldn't be surprised if that person is close to Dana :laff:
if it's me, i'm outing them (that is if it's not a fake)

Option 1 isn't an option. He would have to be in contract with the UFC and any fight they would get a portion of his earnings if he leaves mid contract.

See Conor McGregor.

They ain't got no money to promote themselves. You saw how much they make.:pachaha:

The first step is to create an independent sectioning body. That UFC Belt holds as much weight as a WWE belt.

People don't know what they want until you show it to them.
Affliction tried this. It didnt work.

Strikeforce/elite fc went under with a cbs deal. People only want UFC branding. Plus ufc is making money because of their espn deal not ppvs

Garbage sport giving garbage pay. Fighters are put into an octagon to fight like animals using elbows, knees and just about anything else. Real life blood sport. :camby:

People always say boxing is dying but there’s a reason you don’t have to be a star to make million in boxing. It’s a much bigger sport with people willing to pay a lot more for a ticket.

Pride FC going under was a dark day for MMA. WEC, Strikeforce, Ballator, etc. was never the competitor that Pride was. Rampage, Hendo, BJ, Wanderlei, Vitor, Fedor, Iceman and the list goes on and on of fighters that left the UFC, went to UFC late or never fought at all (Fedor) because they were making good money in Japan. Fighters need legit options.

UFC could only dream of having the big fight atmosphere that Pride had. :wow:

Those 10 minute first rounds

Bellator still exists.
That said i dont feel aorry for these folks.
Everyone knows how the ufc is run, they take that risk to fight with them knowing its going to come with shyt contracts.

Hell francis taking this fight extends his contract. If he really eants out he will need to either sit out or negotiate a buy out and then go to bellator.

Frdor showed everyone how its done.
