Paulie standing in the shoulder roll in the middle of the ring against a South paw. For everyone impressed with Connor landing those lefts THE SHOULDER ROLL DOES NOT WORK AGAINST SOUTHPAWS. THERE IS NO WAY TO ROLL AWAY FROM OR PARRY A STRAIGHT LEFT IN THAT STANCE. THAT IS WHY AGAINST SOUTHPAWS, FLOYD RARELY USES IT.

That's also why people spent so many years thinking Manny had the tools to beat Floyd until they fought, he used check hooks and lateral movement as defense instead of the roll, and damn near blanked him on the cards. Connor's camp is wasting their time telling guys to mimmick the shell. Especially a guy like Paulie who doesn't even use it and properly understand its strengths, weaknesses, and proper times of usage.

Connor is legit never going to get that look from Floyd in the ring. It's the dumbest mistake you can make against a lefty and he hasn't made it in over a decade. They need to be working on cutting off the ring, and getting pass the stomach jab and check hook. Floyd has taken apart every southpaw he's faced with those.
