Paulie's defensive stance looks exactly like Floyd. They probably told Paulie to mimic Floyd while Conor practiced getting shots in.
Now Dana releases heavily edited clips to make it seem like Conor was beating Paulie's ass.

Breh conor is in physical peak going up against a out of shape retired fighter.. he wasn't able to do that to the South African fighter.
With that said I give him credit.

Paulie is an out of shape shot feather fisted fighter while Conor is in the shape of his prime plus bigger/stronger, not very surprising.
