That Vamola backstory is gonna crush react-streamers' souls like a German Suplex.

I'm sure Tatsu will come back to it in the mange when the anime gets to adapt it, he loves to synch the manga and anime. It's been due, we need that reunion

We getting a Kaiju Vamola in action this Monday in the manga and then Kaiju Vamola intro in the anime next Thursday

Chapters 64+65 and the first few pages of 66.

• Kind of insane to add the anime-original perspective that Kinta has been watching Okarun this entire time at school. Kind of wished they also showed him ontop of Aira.
• Green being used for the Kaiji is interesting. I guess it could be used here to symbolize the natural turned unnatural. But also the threat is near, as they only saw the golden ball first. Love the music as the Kaiju grows bigger to finish off the episode.

I do hope this leads to Okarun and Momo reuniting and her getting back to normal soon. Pacing has been taking a hit lately honestly.

So it was mentioned before that the one that fought Jiji was more so an Alien that took the power of some Fog Youkai. I believe Seiko mentioned that. It's safe to assume that the Chamaleon was allied them.

Chapters 66-68 were adapted here.

• So much original in the Kaiju fight.
• 1. You get to see Aira use the things she used in the training episode with Okarun a few episodes ago.
  2. You see Momo blocking the lightning, which wasn't in the manga.
  3. Funny for them to use the backpack that Evil Eye throws is what lets them escape.
• Love the animation visualization of the nanoskin.
• I also love the use of music when Kinta helps to transform the mech.

I guess they will end on chapter 71, but I hope we get the final 3 pages of chapter 72 as a post credit scene for confirmation for S3 hopefully.

Though it is quite a weird chapter. I assume Zuma and the old man are cured too? But this feels really convenient. Who are these people? When is she found?

My bet is Turbo Granny. I saw that in one of the volume's extras she was looking for a way to turn Momo back.

It's that or Zuma and the old guy somehow found these dudes and somehow were able to save the day, lol.

Or some out of left field fukkery we're not gonna see coming

I honestly wouldn't mind a bit of an ass-pull to get this "board game curses need curing" bit finished up and move along. They mentioned already taking care of Momo's two friends, so that's a good sign. Zuma's kinda the last character left that hasn't used up his gas tank during all this, so it might be his chance to step up next...but I'd be fine with just heading back to Okarun's half of the crew or even skipping to the dinner scene that ends every arc.

The animation of Kaiju vs the crew was way above and beyond my expectations. I really loved all the additional bits. The animators really must love Aira, because the Silky backstory was straight-up special in season one, and her sequences fighting the Kaiju were absolute flames. It kinda serves to show that characters like Aira and Jiji do their best work solo, while Okarun and Momo are way more effective as a tandem.

I also like how they're handling Kinta. He's an easy character to get annoyed by or just dislike, but I think they've showed his value and made him funny enough to get past all that.
