I want the movie. This is the perfect arc to finish with a movie.
I disagree breh, I don't wanna wait that long for Reiko to go beast mode on the Globalist and I have full faith in Science Saru doing an awesome job keeping it on TV. Waiting for a film would take till like 2029 or some shyt, no thanks.I want the movie. This is the perfect arc to finish with a movie.
I actually was wondering what would be the cliffhanger for cour 1/season 3. They might flip the script and end it when ghost Okarun finds Momo and Jiji sleeping together@Jmare007 S3 cliffhanger will be Momo watching Valoma getting impaled if we are going by the trend of Momo suffering as cliffhangers![]()
it kinda fits with the pacing of chapters adapted per episode. Chapter 93 vs 100. Either would work, tbh. Though 93 is closer in the middle so that would make more sense to me. Plus it would flow better for split cours. Though I think 2 10-episode courses might make more sense than 2 12-episode courses.I disagree breh, I don't wanna wait that long for Reiko to go beast mode on the Globalist and I have full faith in Science Saru doing an awesome job keeping it on TV. Vamola getting impaled is closer to en ending of the arc, but it would be very SS to end the 2nd cour there to set up the film @storyteller wants. That would also fit with the amount of adapted chapters a movie could get to finish the arc.
Otakus are hypocrites. I remember they were complaining about the Okarun thing and called it NTR

The only copium I got is that Momo lost her powers, and those powers are attributed to those memories. If it's not that thenYeah, this was predictably frustrating. I'ma give this 4-5 chapters to see what's the short term plan for this and the next arc, but if it's just to stretch things out and do "Momo meets everyone again for the first time and rejects everyone but Jiji/Zuma", I'ma probably take a 6-12 month break to wait out and binge read for later.
This could be solved relatively quickly/easyly or it could just fall on the horrible rom-com troupe of entire arcs of useless "misunderstandings" or annoying obstacles. If it's the latter, I ain't reading weekly
This feels like the Invincible comic, where Ryan Ottley would come up with the most repetitive/annoying arcs to keep Mark busy and away from the more interesting/bigger plot in the 2nd half of the story. I was lucky to read the series after it was over because I would've dropped the comic if I was reading it monthly![]()

The easiest path is a mini arc where Momo ends up getting attacked (while being with Okarun) and just like in the first Serpo fight, she awakens her powers. This time she does her "memory connecting" thing with Okarun and that's how she gets her memory back, plus she get to see how Okarun not only sees her but we as readers get to know about his past, we still don't know what's the deal with his family, lmao. The only copium I got is that Momo lost her powers, and those powers are attributed to those memories. she's been tiny for almost 20% of the manga, giving her another 30-50 chapters of dumb obstacles is begging the fanbase to straight up drop the series
Every time a new obstacle comes up, I think "I really hope this is how Turbo Granny gets brought back in." I feel like this is a perfect setup for it, calling back to the first arc.The easiest path is a mini arc where Momo ends up getting attacked (while being with Okarun) and just like in the first Serpo fight, she awakens her powers. It's obvious she's gonna get her memories at some point, the question is if it's gonna be quick or if it's gonna drag. Dragging it out seems like a really bad and stupid idea because no one wants to read thatshe's been tiny for almost 20% of the manga, giving her another 30-50 chapters of dumb obstacles is begging the fanbase to straight up drop the series

I think Tatsu is flat out telling us that. Her memories are from before she got powers (which has 1 big plot hole: if that's the case, she should still remember aliens as she awakened her powers after encountering the Serpo so she "should" remember aliens being real) and her getting her memories back will probably lead to her "awakening" again. Which is gonna take hopefully a small arc and not 15-40 chapters
- I do wonder if Momo's memories are associated with her also losing her powers? I wonder if her memories end before in chapter 1 when she got captured by Aliens.

At least we got some good info this chapter. Too lazy to go back and check right now but was the backround of "the ultimate yokai" that CSG mentioned the same one as the Dandadan?
I'm curious if CSG realizes Okarun doesn't have any powers anymore because he's pretty useless to him unless he's somehow a great vessel for yokai.

My biggest question regarding Momo right now is if there's a version of her with her memories wandering around somewhere. Kinda like what Okarun had during the Globalist arc. We might get another version of "out of body experience" with her before she's whole again.
So yeah, after 5 chapters, I'ma be taking a little break because this amnesia stuff feels useless and it seems it's gonna take a while before Tatsu reveals why he took this direction. It's just not fun following this week to week at a snail's pace for something that's just an annoying ass troupe. This last chapter was just not good felt like the worse type of rom-com series, which was the complete opposite of what made this series so goodYeah, this was predictably frustrating. Following, but there hasn't been much to talk about in terms of plot development. I do like where this left off with Momo and the Count. That feels like it can take us in a few directions. Especially, since they mentioned inserting false memories all chapter long, I could see that as a primer for whatever the Count does next.@storyteller you been following the manga breh or are already taking a break?
