It's the perfect time. There are still great musicians and performers left. Most people on Prince's dikk right now aren't even real fans and can't name any songs outside of his singles. I'm a real Prince fan and have been for a long time. With that being said, it's still important to acknowledge the fact that there are still amazing legendary performers alive today. When someone blindly says Prince was the last one left they're discounting and discrediting those that are still here. I'm a music fan and although Prince will be missed I'm not getting caught in all the bandwagon fake outrage. Even he would tell you that the show must go on.

But they could be respected today. Can probably be respected tomorrow too. Next week, the same. Some will be around next year to give them respect on a great career. They all still have opportunities to make great music, notable events, etc. Prince doesn't.

I just think it was (and is) still time to reflect on Prince's greatness. Dude died and hasn't even been 24 hours until somebody made it about somebody else.
