That was refreshingly honest, but no one believes or tries to push E&C as some mainstream stars. WWE tries to push Cena as a "larger than life icon" that transcends the business like Hogan or Rock. This just knocked that narrative down another peg.

Cena's reign actually did the exact opposite, despite what people keep touting as inevitable. No one wanted him on top as long, non stop, as he was. If they could've let him be a bit vulnerable until some legend actually gave him the rub, RA era would've had a better ending.

True..... no one does until the discussion in attempt to shyt on TNA or other feds comes up that "Oh EVERYONE in the E makes MILLIONS of dollars per year and EVERYONE KNOWS ALL the WWE stars and no one knows the guys in the so called "inferior" companies.

I remember some one once said more people know lower to mid card guys than they did world champs other places.

And even recently I believe either Flair or Y2J in their podcast said more people knew AJ Styles in one night (his debut) than anyone did in his entire career.
