D'Angelo reportedly passed away (pancreatic cancer)

I just saw the news and I’m in complete shock…

51 is too young but it’s also a number where you have to really start thinking about your health especially as black men. I hate this….fukk cancer forreal. It took my Dad and he was only 45

“Wtf?!” My exact words reading this. Rest in peace to a GOAT, and condolences to his and Angie’s kid that lost both his parents within the last few months. We forget how fragile and tenuous life can be, this shyt is over in a twinkle of an eye. Reminder to not sweat the small stuff because this is going to be all of us someday.

Gotta admit that pic of him with the cigarette in his hand probably answers any health related questions about him any of us may have.

He was a serious alcoholic at one point. I remember reading a feature on him and the writer said his kitchen was littered with empty liquor bottles. D'Angelo walked in, grabbed a shot glass, and went around to all the bottles trying to get enough drops out of them to fill the glass

He was dealing with a lot. The fame he got after Untitled messed him up. He wasn't comfortable being a sex symbol which was a reason he got fat and stayed away from the public.

Can't lie when I heard he passed I was thinking suicide because it seemed like his life was dark.
