I'm one of the few that still support him. There's a lot of them hating on him. But the trade was needed for the Lakers. He just wasn't gonna excel there due to several reasons, some which are on him and some due to the Lakers.

To answer your question @CantStop he's a terribly slow guard in a conference that has a number of exceptionally fast guards. He also never had shown the mental capacity to lead a team. Okafor who came from a better program on a team that won a championship would have been a better choice. The Sixers are a terrible organization and he would have developed better out in LA.
