But PG already stated he wants to be a Laker next year, so there's no sense for that.

Maybe Magic is going to to flip this into another star and team them up with PG next year.

Agreed but this trade was less about D Lo and more about Mozgov. He was just collateral damage they could afford because of Lonzo.
