Also that song came out in 2012, so Kendrick was not as big as an artist as he was now. Bridget was signed to a machine too as well. I guess she was suppose to be the next one up but again Beyoncé shut that down. Only summer walker types allowed so Beyoncé cannot receive no competition.

beyonce has been on top of everyone else but her results havent been. she sold like 74000 copies with the gift basket which was "Lion King Sound Track".
only thing is the music industry in 2021 doesnt revolve around music but music videos, she still has star appeal because shes an "a-list" but the music hasnt been hitting for a while now.
