Ziggler had a concussion and it derailed his career. They still have to be cautious.

At least it isn't his neck as we all feared. Not that a concussion is much better but if something happens to his neck again it may very well be game over for good.

:mjcry: Man if they are too precautious and have him drop the strap to Barrett :scust:

If he has to drop it, just make him retain against Barrett and give it to Ambrose, or depending on how long the feud with Sheamus is supposed to last, Ziggler. Or even better, drop it to Cesaro or Kidd and have the other go after the US title post-Rusev so they can have a full-on midcard title run.

WWE said it's bullshyt
Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez both discussed Daniel Bryan’s current injury issues on The Wrestling Observer Radio (via Wrestlezone.com).Previous reports indicated that Bryan suffered a concussion at the March 31 Smackdown tapings. As a result, he was sent home from the WWE European Tour as a “precautionary measure.”

On the most recent Wrestling Observer Radio, Meltzer said that Bryan was sent home because of a concussion he suffered during his Smackdown match against Sheamus. WWE is apparently denying the claim that Bryan suffered a concussion at the tapings, and apparently company officials would only say that that Bryan is “banged up.” However, Meltzer and Alvarez maintain that Bryan is out due to the concussion issue.

WWE Intercontinental Champion Daniel Bryan made headlines this week when he was pulled from the WWE European tour earlier than planned due to concerns over his health. Rumors had been swirling for weeks regarding his physical issues, with many claiming that he had been telling friends that he was hurting more than normal.

Prior to WrestleMania 31 a few weeks ago, Bryan appeared on Chris Jericho's "Talk Is Jericho" podcast and spoke about his neck and elbow issues from last year, and how they were affecting him.

"We didn't know how my neck was going to do when I came back," Bryan told Jericho on his podcast at the time. "It's the same with any injury, I think. If you have knee surgery, you don't know how your knee is going to do until you actually start putting pressure on it and you can do as much rehab or whatever you want, and now it's this thing of it being like getting pretty worn down, and I've never felt this way before."

Many questioned Bryan's decision not to undergo additional surgery to try and better correct the physical issues he had been dealing with, including John Cena, who publicly disagreed with the way Bryan was handling the situation, which he alluded to during an episode of last seasons "Total Divas" reality show.

Bryan would later theorize that it could just be age and years of a very physically demanding style finally catching up with him.

"But I'm also getting older. So I don't know if it's just (that), but sometimes when you've been off for nine or 10 months, then coming back takes maybe some getting used to, and I don't know if I'm still in that adjustment process," said Bryan.

Bryan is scheduled to defend his WWE Intercontinental Championship against Bad News Barrett at the upcoming WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view, which takes place on Sunday, April 26, 2015, at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois.

Regarding why WWE Intercontinental Champion Daniel Bryan was sent home from the recent WWE European tour, a WWE source stated to PWInsider that Bryan is indeed injured.
Bryan reportedly suffered an injury on April 9th at a WWE live event in Dublin, Ireland as he teamed with Dolph Ziggler and Erick Rowan to defeat Sheamus, Bray Wyatt and Bad News Barrett. We’re not exactly sure what happened to him but there was an injury in that match that got him sent home.

When Bryan was first sent home, WWE officials expected him to be out of the ring for about a month. No word yet if that time-frame has changed but there’s a chance they change Sunday’s Extreme Rules match against Barrett.

He should retire now and get healthy. When you think about it , if Brock had taken him to suplex city he would be dead . I like Bryan but I don't want too see him maimed .

It kills me when some dudes still think he could've gone against Lesnar and be safe.

I think I'm off the Bryan train for good. It's pointless. It's clear he's past his prime and becoming injury prone. I don't blame the E for not pushing him at this point. Why take the risk?
