While nothing is definite right now regarding Daniel Bryan competing at the upcoming Money In The Bank pay-per-view, there's a feeling among many that even if it's not the best thing for Bryan's health, he will end up working a match at the show because of how tough mentally he is, and how he always wants to be in the thick of things.

It's being said that there is tremendous pressure being put on Bryan in real life to be ready at the MITB PPV, whether it's being said directly or just strongly implied.

You would think after all the neck injuries with superstars in the past they'd be smart enough to not rush him back, just strip the damn belt

Exactly. Plus he's still young and they're going to need him for the future. Don't wear him out now.

at this point give him half the year off...he's had his big moment and peaked quite well...he should just be a surprise entrant at rumble and win it to take on somebody like Brock

D-Bry is my guy, but this dude is an a$$hole when it comes to his physical well-being.

Recouping from a neck injury is way more important than a paper championship for a scripted event

This is the same dude who badly fukked his arm up 5 minutes into a match and went on to wrestle another 55 to go according to plan (a 60 minute time limit draw). And that 2 months later, still injured, based a 30 minute match with the hardest kicker in the world (of wrestling) on getting that same arm destroyed by kicks.

The same dude who kept wrestling against a fat fukk for 12 minutes after detaching his retina.

Bryan has always been a moron when it comes to injuries. Unless someone stops him (like wjen La Nariz when he had a concussion in a match against Orton), he will wrestle regardless of how fukked up he may be.

I do believe he will change his style a little bit though. No more missile dropkicks at least.

Bryan is good enough to work a match and not put himself in super danger for further injury.

He could work a mat match and keep it fairly exciting.

Bryan can sit this one out, looking what sitting it out did for Austin career, just a matter of how its done. WWE problem has become not finding an appropriate way of keeping them relatively safe during an injury other than keeping them home and making them an after thought. ie; Corey Graves... got a concussion during WM access....Mania was 2 months ago, dude still hasn't been seen..not even a in-ring promo or nothing.

It's applauded in every sport really.

And in wrestling we love stupidity, we cheer and praise guys for taking stupidly dangerous bumps or doing very risky spots. It is what it is, I personally don't care that much (even though later I'm :to: like with Misawa) but I recognize how crazy/dumb most wrestlers and we fans are when it comes to safety :manny:

I agree with this. Meltzer was overreacting the other day when he said Bryan couldn't help himself if he wresled at MITB, that he was going to work a normal match despite the injury.

A stretcher match lends itself for a lot of smoke and mirrors and if DB actually wrestles I'm pretty sure him and the agents will find a way to work a safe+decent match.
