Nah...he had no momentum until that gauntlet and then he got more hot the other New Day cats. They were definitely gonna push Owens vs Bryan...and something was going on with Ali which is how Kofi first got the gauntlet spot.

Yup, this right here is what I remember it being. Ali was just gonna showout at the Gauntlet (possibly EC but not win), and they were already cooking up those KO vids same time for his return and WM match.

Glad it worked out the way it did. to D-Bry. Since his return he been putting on folks that he knows needed a lil push. Even took that clean L to Rusev (which they did nothing with)
