They want him back to be food for Brock Lesnar...if I were him i'd wait until that dude's part time run is over
obviously WWE won't do the david vs goliath match with Daniel Bryan vs Lesnar even though that makes the most sense
you built a freaking star last year and you can ride that storyline out for another mania...why rush putting Roman in the spotlight when that can happen the year after this year...unless Roman Reigns is like 37 and i'm not aware of his current age

Last I heard was him promoting WWE2K16 overseas a couple of weeks ago and saying he wants to go to more doctors and get their clearance to force WWE's hand

Also, there's nothing wrong with just benching him a good while now for the sake of longevity. If I was them I'd just tell him he's on the sidelines until the Raw after 'Mania. Basically give him a year off, and if his body breaks down again, it's time for him to make a serious decision.
