There's always gonna be a few people who feel like you feel, but you can't deny that rise was organic and he had the people behind him. He was never forced on the audience, the audience wanted him in that spot. Son was the textbook definition of over and even more important dude could flat out go in that ring.

You right...I should have worded that better. I felt like it was being forced from the fans who did like him like a few I seen respond. They'll hit you with a "fukk you mean you dont like Daniel Bryan:why:". Because I don't. :manny:He didn't connect

Who compared Daniel Bryan to Stone Cold? :wtf:

I remember seeing a lot of tweets that Raw when he beat up the Wyatts in the cage and had the crowd over. People was throwing out Stone Cold name a lot.

Your being a contrarion the energy the fans added to the matches you can tell it was something special

I can't say it did for me because I never was invested in him so the outcome never mattered to me. :manny:

To be fair, Heel Bryan pre-Team Hell No was my favorite aswell. I preferred that - when he used to come out with the yes jackets and was obnoxious as fukk :russ:.

Having said that, I think Bryan's everyman persona as a face is what made a lot of people like him, couple with his intensity in the ring. A lot of people though are more conditioned to view larger-than-life personas/performers the same way, which is fine. People like what they like.

I became much more of a believer during the team Hell No feud with The Shield. He was super over at that point.

I'm blowed right now and I been wanting to make this thread for a min and I finally got the energy to.

First off, no disrespect for Daniel Bryan because pre WWE I'm ignorant to everything else he has done and I get it...he's a God to the people who watch the indies. This is a WWE discussion. When he was in the WWE...to me, I never was a fan. The best Daniel Bryan I saw was the heel Daniel Bryan with AJ when he was WHC. I thought his work than was great. This is more about the face Daniel Bryan everyone was begging to go over at WM XXX.

That dude never connected with me. I seen people comparing dude to Stone Cold at the time and i was like :scust:. I never felt that connection at all and I'm not even a Austin fan like that. It felt so forced to me. Ring work...Maybe the WWE had him tone his stuff down but I never got that feeling from watching his matches that I'm like "damn I'm watching a great at work right now" as I did with maybe a HBK or Angle, etc in their prime. The "yes" chant got played out. Mic work...nothing special in my opinion but he was good at telling a story. Loved the match with him and HHH at WM30 btw.

I just don't see the hype in dude that I see a lot of ppl speak of on here. Unfortunate how shyt played out but i don't miss him.

Its fair dude :youngsabo: Although in a sense your putting yourself in a corner, because you know Bryan was in the indies. WWE's product has been stale as fukk, so your not seeing how piff Bryan was. At least though you respect his in-ring work, which is cool :myman:

Always was a big fan but I think he's been pretty easily replaced with the stable of good indy wrestlers they have brought in :yeshrug:

He ain't been replaced at all..the WWE is nowhere near as LIVE and as discussed as when he was going strong. People were in disbelief with how over he got by Jan 2014.

Great to watch in the ring and the road to Wrestlemania 30 was one of the greatest star building storylines in years.
