That's my point. Since there's no recorded accent of Lincoln, you can only imagine what dialect he'll use.
I still can't wrap around my head, he grew 5 inches for the role. How's that even possible ?
I don't know about his accent, but it's said lincoln had a high pitched voice
at Daniel asking the director to keep it authentic as possible, live ammo for the finale 
posthumous oscar locked

Seriously, He demands anyone on cast and crew to acknowledge him as that character in the particular film he 's working on. I do the same to the cast I'm working with as crew. DDL is the truth.
