Who's taking on that contract without getting a really nice pick with Horford?

Idk, but I think if you're gonna trade him this offseason will be his peak value over the duration of the contract. And considering there were several teams interested in paying him big money in the offseason I'd imagine there would be takers

Man....

I still say they're stuck in no man's land in terms of a plan. Ainge went half in with contending and half in with rebuilding.

They should trade Thomas this summer. I'd start by calling the Kings about the 5th or 10th pick (maybe both :lolbron: ) since they're clueless.

I think he'd be a good fit on the Bucks. :jbhmm:
This was Danny's plan:

"Sooner or later Anthony Davis is gonna get sick of New Orleans. Let's load up our ammo so when that day comes, we're his only option"

I think Horford could absolutely have some interest on the market but considering this is our first big free agent signing in forever it'd probably be a bad look if we traded him one year into his deal

I could see the Thunder trading a protected first or two for Al. :ld:

Kanter; Abrines, and Singler would make the salaries match.
Over half their salary cap for the next three seasons would be tied up in their front court with Adams and Horford. Add in Oladipo and that's over 75%.

That's the other thing. Who the hell else is gonna sign there in the near future if they moved Horford after one year?

I seriously doubt they move Horford or Isaiah. Fultz can play next to anybody and they have a year to figure that out whether Isaiah is worth a max or not... I don't think people should turn on Isaiah based on a game and a half... he's banged up, his sister died, his jaw is fukked up, and he's probably exhausted from carrying this team offensively for the better part of 90 games

I don't think Isaiah is the problem, but if they can get a nice haul for him this summer, they gotta pull the trigger. You know they can't give him a monster deal. :yeshrug:

Ainge is the same guy who said he woulda dealt Bird and McHale so no one should be untouchable.

They don't have options to improve right now. Al won't put them over the top, but he'd give them extra spacing and another scoring option. Dipo will likely benefit off that extra spacing and improve his efficiency. :manny:

Yeah, they could be desperate enough. It'd be foolish, but :manny:

And that's why there's no chance it happens

There's no way management can spin trading IT after he carries the team to 53 wins and an ECF appearance. If he gets moved so Fultz can start at PG it'll be after he gets maxed out :manny:

Congrats, Lebron and the Cavs done spun it for management.
