Jimmy Butler is not better than Kyrie fukk outta here

And why would the Celtics trade for him when they have two young studs needing development

Irving: Elite scorer, trash defender
Butler: very good scorer, elite defender

Gimme Jimmy over Kyrie everyday.

Exactly! They just need a big that can protect the rim and get boards. If Ainge still has assets then they need to used for this sole purpose.

How many teams have that? There are only five or six players that gives you both rebounds and blocks

hes much better than kyrie, and more valuable in this league where pg's are dime a dozen. so is paul george. so is demarcus cousins.

ainge spent a whole season pump faking himself and ended up getting raped by a team that shouldve had no leverage at all in trade talks :skip:

The Demarcus Cousin's trade is the one he dropped the ball on

But Jimmy Butler and Paul George, who gives a fukk :heh:

I understand not paying a 30 year old undersized one dimensional PG next year, but at best this is a lateral move and worst a pure loss. If he wasn't sold on IT should have drafted Fultz. Then he still could have signed cacward and flipped that pick for someone like Boogie or another big. Instead you got a midget FC of Al and Tatum, huge loss of perimeter D, and Kyrie who more then likely will bolt in 2 years

:dead:

Not securing rebounds is exactly how a less talented team can beat a more talented team.

They still have assets, but they're not as polished and pristine as they once were.
Can testify.
Playing half court 3on3. There is nothing worse than when your team mates don't get them boards.
Sure fire way to lose

Kyrie being better than Harden is already a truth.

Ainge is not holding back just like he didn't when he did the Boston 3 trade. He needs to fill in this need now that he has made his play and showed his hand.

Why do people think Boston is significantly better? ...I could see it if they somehow still had bradley, crowder, olynyk, smart etc...

Celts coach has some work cut out for him

People get enamored with big names and offensive outbursts/skillsets. And there is the anti-Bron contingent. You got Kyrie and Hayward leading a team full of young, one way players and Horford. There is certainly potential there and the east is weak but we really have no idea how good this team is gonna be, as it's basically an entirely new team of people playing new roles. It will be interesting to see if Kyrie buys in to Stevens' system. If the rumors are true and he actually wants to have the ball more and do more (like he didn't pound the shyt out of that bytch in CLE) that doesn't really sound like a good match.

Kyrie wanted to go to Boston because of Stevens. Stevens was why Boston was on Kyrie's shortlist of new teams.

He's going to fit nicely into Stevens' system.

He didn't want Fultz... he wanted TATUM to which most people say he's the best player of the draft. And Ainge wasn't EVEN willing to give that up. That was what the Cavs REALLY wanted and eventually settled for the draft pick instead.
