Danny Brown will NEVER make a great album. He has the full package in what you would want in a rapper but his subject matter gets stale so quick. Need to stick to features on other people's records.

i take it you haven't listened to much of his material

His style changed severely since Detroit State Of Mind/Hybrid.

I feel like his songs are less serious...and he's amplified the more comical side of him.

I cant hate, I still like his stuff...but sometimes I think he popped too much molly and fukked too many white girls to the point his new style borders on a parody...

exactly. i look at it just as what Action Bronson did...they took out the more serious and introspective elements(Danny still says some shyt at times) and turned up all of the quirky and unique parts of their styles that make them stand out...thing is with him its so hit or miss with me. i do still fukk with danny though.

exactly. i look at it just as what Action Bronson did...they took out the more serious and introspective elements(Danny still says some shyt at times) and turned up all of the quirky and unique parts of their styles that make them stand out...thing is with him its so hit or miss with me. i do still fukk with danny though.

My thoughts exactly. I'm a bigger Bronson fan than Danny Brown. Action Bronson can spit and actually says some shyt like on Dr. Lecter and Blue Chips but I hope he doesn't go over board with the clown shyt. You'll get pigeon-holed and cornered if you take the clown route and your albums/mixtapes will never sound well-rounded. But that clown shyt gets you the notoriety and fan fare so its like a catch-22. Like it's own form of selling out but not really... a not that clear but u get what I'm sayin.

agree 100%..Bronson just spits comic book bars about him doing mega flips & cartwheels lol..its dope but will it always be?

But it made Action better and Danny worse.

also agree 100%..it doesnt make Bronson annoying....Danny treads on annoying..same as Marshall with his screaming.
