I really respect the history and game in this interview... cause he was dropping SERIOUS game...




but...

at some point...you gotta ask... why can't we "DO FOR SELF?

Why chase european brands that CONTINUALLY disrespect black consumers? Was it necessary to do so?

If yall notice, the interview got kinda hostile when asked why he needs to work with Gucci now and why not start his own black brands

Look at how folks reacted to The Little Mermaid, and how much they begged for black characters on Game Of Thrones. Too many of us don’t value our own, and seek constant approval and validation from white owned brands.

There are black content creators and designers, but those brands need OUR support.
