Last season was Frankenstein'd together between two creative forces and was a bit of a clusterfukk as a result. Show rounded out in the latter half with the current team and coming out of this premiere just now, it's for the better.
If you're worried about the Disneyification, it's arguably just as violent and there were more F-bombs tossed around tonight than I've heard on either Netflix's and last season's run.

Yeah I'm 10 min in and I'm just not a fan of the way this is shot compared to the original run..
I'm no critic and I don't know how to describe it but this feels more "comic booky" compared to the Netflix run. Something about the camera movement, faster pace, I'm not sure.
I'll wait to hold judgement overall.

That's cool but violence and profanity isn't what made the original netflix run so goated, it was just extremely well written. 2nd season was a little shaky but 1st and 3rd seasons are some of the greatest superhero shows ever made imo. Disney writing been flabby about as long as it's been good at this point so I'm a little skeptical. Thanks for the info though.
Pretty good opener. If critics thought this was one of the weaker episodes of the season then I'm in for a treat.
Really enjoying the addition of Lillard, my guy Stu. Dude's energy is undeniable. So much so that even Fisk couldn't help but to chuckle.

The AVTF wreaking havoc and disturbing the peace hitting a little too close to home...I'ma throw a party when this Powell dude gets clipped.
Lol, to think Dex exhausted enough time for Matt to get the shyt beaten out of him before finally coming through and saving him at the last second.
All this happening while Spida-Man creeping outside MJ's window after fighting a dude with BOOMERANGS, might I add.

Netflix had the better choreography as well, IMO. The highs were high writing-wise but there were some lulls in those seasons, additionally. I'm playing wait and see here because I don't think judging a half season stitch job for what these current showrunners have to offer is really fair.
Aside from like one character in the premiere tonight, it felt like every one else was utilized well. That was a rarity last season.

Just watched and man...they definitely upped the violence! They also dropped an interesting conversation when Mr. Charles was in Fisk's office. Did anyone catch that name drop by chance? Overall, this first episode has gotten me hooked! 
This was a great start. I will say I feel like there was a more practical way the fights were choreographed in the Netflix run that this one is missing. Like the bone snaps don't need the CGI skin breaking shyt. But, that is me pickin nits. Overall, Glenn gonna spiral something crazy. I can't wait for Powell to go hang out with Charlie Kirk in hell. Just pissed I heard they were gonna drop 2 to start to now only drop 1 motherfukkers.
