The Devil in Cell block D

As for the episode I usually hate episodes were they try to retroactively connect all the characters but this was more of an exploration of belief in fate or a purpose so I liked it.

Fisk is going to tear the city apart for Bullseye. All those guns about to get confiscated for a new job.

Bebe pushed her luck. Ole’ dude going to try and kill her

The Daredevil series always knows how to do slow-burn episodes. Episode 5 was great as everything was woven together nicely. I enjoyed the dialogue between Daredevil and Bullseye. They tried to understand each other on some level which makes it interesting considering what they've both gone through. Overall, this season has been firing on all cylinders :ehh:

Episode 5 was decent but also kind of a filler episode.

Yes and no. The story did progress forward without much action but the key takeaway here, at least from what I gather out of this episode is that a lot vulnerability was shown. The conversations the characters had held a lot of weight. Especially with Kingpin and Vanessa. Seeing the Kingpin unravel near Vanessa was showed him in a much unique life. The voice changing, him being completely self servant to Vanessa. She was the one person that truly was able to see who he really was.

And of course, the Daredevil, Bullseye dynamic added even more layers to their character. Then also seeing how Buck managed to be by Kingpin's side, for me personally, I can't necessarily say it's a filler but I do understand people saying it was due to what happened last episode and seeing things slow down a bit.

Just finished watching this. You can definitely see that it was an emotional episode for her as she was saying goodbye to a character that she enjoyed being. I like watching these as you get more insight on what went into the episodes.
