I will say that I don't care for the relationship between Matt and Heather (the therapist). They have basically zero chemistry, and it seems kind of forced.

Anyway, the guy with the mask hiding in the subway is most likely the same weirdo guy from Heather's book signing in episode 2, right?

Really enjoyed episode 4! Whenever DD and Punisher are on screen together, their conversations are impactful and meaningful. You could really see the internal struggle of what Matt is currently going through. Trying to do let the Justice System do it’s job hasn’t quite panned out like he envisioned. On the other side, you have Kingpin trying to blend in to normal society but finding out that he really doesn’t fit in. Still, he has to be on his best behavior out in the open to achieve his desire of being the most influential man in New York.

The overall acting in this episode was really strong. Things are definitely picking up so I’m expecting the violence to escalate in this next few episodes.

Their relationship does seem a bit…flat at the moment. I liked him better with She-Hulk:russ:

The guy in the mask is indeed the same guy that was at the book signing

You're insane! All court, fukk no!

Season 2 wasn't ass, it was just trying to juggle TWO entirely different tasks in ONE season. They used DD2 as a backdoor pilot for Punisher and did all the origin story and heavy lifting there. And on the other side, tried to set up The Hand and flesh them out going into Defenders all the while Iron Fist exists, but it was hot garbage.

Either story alone would be a great season of television. Haphazardly shuffling them together over 13 episodes was the mistake. 6 episodes of DD/Punisher and 7 episodes of DD vs an undead ninja cult would have been great.

The Punisher should have been all of season 2 💯

It fell off (not bad) when Elektra showed up

Punisher was 10/10
Elektra/Hand was 7/10

He was such a force of nature when he was onscreen anything else was unworthy

I guess I have ADHD cuz I'm really not feeling this show so far. I'll keep watching though. Maybe it will grow on me but I prefer how Netflix handled things :yeshrug:

Fisk a better man than me. I would have crashed out over built this city. Matt negotiating 10 days had Better Call Saul vibes.

Now that we got Saul out the way, it's time for Frank Miller vibes

I swear to god I don't know what these people want !

Like the dialogue is great, the character building is phenomenal and there's intense scenes and you can clearly see it's building up to something big.

It's fixing all the mistakes that people were pissing and moaning about and rightfully so over their last couple shows
Watching the show with their phone in their hands. The action keeps them from scrolling.

Y'all have a lot of preconceived notions and assumptions for those who've critiqued the show just b/c it doesn't align with your own views & opinions lol.

Considering that some streamers are sending showrunners notes to make audiences watch the screen cause they know they're own their phones, I think it's pretty fair notion.

Also, I didn't really love this episode.
