Spoiler: Stuff to watch before this series : Fisk

The stuff from Hawkeye and echo have a way bigger impact on Fisk than the few appearances Matt had between his old show and this.


Him getting shot by echo and her trying to clean his spirit or whatever that's why I think that initial conversation between matt and Fisk. he doesn't think he's lying.

. . . i thought he got blinded in his left-eye in one of them shows . . .. i know in the diner scene it was mentioned that he got shot in the face by someone he used to mentor (Echo) .. but he aint have no scars or glass eye or nothing . . . . .

The cop beating up Matt at the end had a punisher's skull tattoo so I think they're gonna do the storyline about The Punisher cops and Frank comes to kick their ass.

I like that they didnt make a big deal about it.

Thought I was trippin' for a sec when I saw that last part.

The writing is very sharp It feels just like the old show

the only thing that doesn't feel like the old show is the camera work and the color grading like the Daredevil Netflix had such a distinctive look and this feels a little more flat in terms of the camera work and the angles but otherwise we're back.

That Netflix spirit seems to shine through whenever the characters are in close quarters. It’s when they step outside and take me to scenes overlooking a wide shot NYC skyline, be it day or night, that I’m reminded that this is a Disney+ production.

Definitely a cleaner look here, but also seems to work in conjunction with Fisk elevating himself from the criminal underworld into the mayoral chair.

There's something off about the action.

Like you said it felt like a video game/cgi.

I'm only 15 minutes into episode 1 to be fair so let's see
