*Sony owns Spider-Man's live-action rights, and they would have to allow Disney/Marvel to use him in this show.

*Sony won't do that though because they believe Spider-Man is "too big of a character" to appear in a TV show and they want to retain as much creative control over Spidey as much as possible.

I know he’ll never appear live action on TV, I just wish they’d stop pump fakin with the Daredevil in costume movie cameo

They keep bringing characters in from that corner like Punisher, Sheila, and Matt Murdock but won’t put Kingpin or Matt in costume on screen with Spidey lol

It all goes back to complicated rights issues. I believe that Vincent D'Onofrio (Fisk/Kingpin) said that his Kingpin can't appear on the big screen due to rights issues.

Also, just a quick check on twitter…a lot of this shows fan base is fukking miserable man, it’s never reached the peak of season 3 daredevil, but it is still great Marvel TV and absolutely better than any other Disney plus marvel show, I’m convinced some of these complainers will never be happy

Naw this was very DISNEY.

It lacked an iconic fight or action sequence and removed all the darkness.

Daredevil doesn’t even get tired anymore.

It’s just another superhero show now like say Arrow
