I think he's kinda old, although he definitely looks the part.

Daredevil :lupe:

Do Luke Cage, Iron Fist AND Jessica Jones (especially Jessica Jones) all really need solo joints tho :shaq2:

Goddamnit yes. Iron Fist has a detailed and mystical origin story all by himself. Luke Cage, as the FIRST African American superhero to headline his own comic series is black excellence personified and Jessica Jones also has a very detailed backstory as a hero/investigator. All 4 rightfully deserve their own 13 episode series.

Only thing that strikes me as odd is that they'd go with The Defenders moniker instead of Heroes For Hire. The Defenders is Dr. Strange, Namor, and Silver Surfer. Heroes For Hire is tailer MADE for this particular group given the relative popularity of the Luke Cage/Iron Fist team up, plus Jessica and Cage eventually marrying, and Mat Murdock being a lawyer.

I know about their stories, it just seemed weird to have 4 Marvel shows all of a sudden (but I guess they won't be aired simultaneously). But you right. They're basically going with the formula from the movies with a bunch of solos culminating in a team-up.

I'm shocked that they're going with a Daredevil TV show (doesn't mean he can't pop up in the movies later down the line), that's ill. I hope it's dark in tone. Didn't even realize they had the rights back from Fox :ohhh:

Ving Rhames is probably too old now but I always thought either him or Terry Crews would make the PERFECT Luke Cage.

I know Tyrese had been actively trying to play him for years, but that's when it was supposed to be a movie directed by John Singleton.
