I still think this season would have benefited greatly from just focusing on The Punisher and saving the Elektra/Hand stuff for the following season.

I agree. This season felt disjointed with multiple stories going on which is fine, but they didnt really come together as cleanly as i thought they would towards the end. The punisher story was the highlight of the season and seeing Kingpin again was cool too. I was fine with the introduction of Elecktra but when it came to the black cloud and ancient ninja magic stuff, it lost me.

Btw wtf was up with that giant hole they found in the middle of the season? Was there a point to that I missed?

Man Bucky is low key a beast. At least in that movie. I wanna see him put in work in civil war

from the looks of the previews, it seems he was the one that took down War Machine with that big ass gun
plus he tag teams Ironman with Cap
PLUS he takes on Black Panther

Disney pretty much took winter soldier, the already physically prominent character from the comic, and gave him an upgrade in the martial arts department

daredevil was the least interesting character this season. kingpin hasn't really been utilised in any of the new era marvel film/tv universe but he has a lot of potential.

This makes Jessica Jones look like some CW trash.

I get the feeling you are the type that thinks, action + gore is but noir thriller with minimal action is If the themes in Jessica Jones went over your head because there was no ninjas or point blank shots of blown off faces that's on you. Direct me to a CW show that has a protagonist so nonchalant about the idea of rape,or has scenes like death by 1000 cuts or the scene where killgrave kills his mother

Waiting week to week can sometimes makes you anxious, but at least everyone is watching the same eps around the same time, so we can all talk about the series on equal ground.

Also it shows how bad a show can be...Like season 2 of walking dead .. what a chore that was watching week to week

so discuss the shyt with ppl that are watching it at your pace pardon my ignorance but what's the big deal in having a group discussion about an episode? do you need your opinions validated or do you echo that of others? if anything the best thing about these shows is that you watch unaccompanied that way when it's time to give an analysis it's solely yours. With TV shows most of the time everyone is just parroting the other and the few that go the opposite way are seen as trolls

I avoided this thread like the plague until I finished the season. Now that I'm done Ima go back and digest this thread where I left off.

I will say this tho, the ending summed up things nicely but I was still left feeling empty

The Netflix universe still feels isolated, I was expecting more crossover between DD, Luke Cage and Jessica Jones. Besides Claire and The lawyer lady their world's are still so far apart. I'm anticipating how they gone bring the Defenders into fruition more than anything now

The way they build the cliff hangers at the end of each is remarkable.


Really want to take my gawt damn time viewing and processing the material.


There's so much to ingest and to binge watch it would really be overconsumption and having shiit go over my head.


Shiit needs to be appreciated and gradually enjoyed to really get the full effect of the episodes (and i like to build anticipation by waiting a week to watch an episode or two... hoping to extend it so i watch the last scenario in May).



I'm not the biggest fan of Karen, but i can see why some aren't fond of her character. She can be a nuisance but i feel her inclusion is pertinent to the show's premise... if not now, than later. I'm sure the writers know what they're doing as Daredevil has been superb since its inception.
